I can't begin to imagine the difference between any nation predominantly shaped by jesus or one by mohammed or buddha.

The battle you are fighting is a necessary one, and the method you have chosen is ingenious. Especially since Frances Kellor was a woman and a "progressive".

Having recently visited my native country, I was again shocked about the immensity of the difference in way of life. No wonder immigrants stick together; the truth is frightening.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5306935107490146994.post-50598905183444307262008-04-05T09:48:00.000-04:002008-04-05T09:48:00.000-04:00Outland, I think separating culture from race help...Outland, I think separating culture from race helps. Some of what fuels pc is that everything you say is racist. That even includes judging civilizations. The slogan "if diversity is real, culturism is necessary," uses their language against them.

You're right that it is extremely frustrating when every word that values your culture puts you outside the box of acceptable discussion: ethnocentric bigotted xenophobic nationalist!!

And it is hard to start debate when your very thoughts are thought crimes; when media outlets err on the side of less speech. But I appreciate the fact that you and lexcen keep the discussions alive. It can be a pain, because you have to make a living. Censorship and public crucifixions are unworthy of the Western heritage we have inherited. That should be the first lesson in the PC brain-shrinking world we live in.

These PC days, censorship means that you're thinking outside of the boundaries set by PC. In short: non-PC people are no longer bigots, but out-of-the-box-thinkers who feel the need to speak up, because they lover their countries and culture. If that makes me a bigot to some, so be it. That's their stupdity, not mine.

So, what is to be done? We should publicize our written thoughts. Thank God, we can do that on the internet.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5306935107490146994.post-42896021983719492942008-04-04T04:25:00.000-04:002008-04-04T04:25:00.000-04:00The right to freedom of speech will be lost if we ...The right to freedom of speech will be lost if we don't use it, are afraid to use it or are prevented from using it.Lexcenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17856993035719777231noreply@blogger.com
